As part of the Ashford Residences development in Ashgrove by Mirvac, a TMR-approved acoustic fence with an integrated retaining wall was required to deliver both functional noise mitigation and a high-quality visual outcome for the estate. Pensar, the civil contractor for the project, engaged FBF as the TMR-registered installer to supply and construct the barrier system.

CHALLENGE & SOLUTION
Challenge: FBF worked closely with Pensar, TMR representatives, the project engineer and the onsite construction team to ensure the barrier was delivered on time and to specification. The project involved integrating the acoustic fence with the retaining wall, requiring careful coordination with the broader civil works program.
Collaboration with our client was a key focus, with batten patterns reviewed and approved before installation and colour selections finalised to complement the estate’s design vision.
Solution: FBF’s painting team then completed the works, applying the approved finishes to achieve a premium, long-lasting result.
OUTCOME
The project was successfully completed within the required timeframe and in full compliance with TMR specifications. The final acoustic barrier not only provides essential noise reduction but also enhances the visual character of Ashford Residences, creating a functional yet striking feature that reflects both engineering precision and architectural quality.
