CHALLENGE & SOLUTION
Challenge: The site required strong perimeter security while managing the safe, efficient movement of high volumes of staff and visitors, while clearly separating pedestrians from vehicles and operational hazards in full compliance with Australian Standard AS1657.
Solution: Heavy-duty speartop security fencing was installed to deter unauthorised access, supported by personal access gates to control pedestrian flow and maintain separation from vehicle traffic. Tubular handrails, installed to AS1657, provided compliant safety barriers across walkways, platforms, and stairways throughout the facility.
OUTCOME
The completed project delivered a secure, well-organised site with clearly defined access points, improved operational safety, and long-term peace of mind for the Narangba Depot team
